Comments: Confuciusornis (according to the Latin transliteration for Confucius bird) is a kind of archaeornis, fossil remains is found on Liaoning’s Yixian Formation (sihetun and eight lee lang ditch cretaceous sedimentary rocks). In the public fossil specimens, Confucius bird bone structure is completed. All these makes it being the most famous of Mesozoic birds. According to the history of the geological formation, this bird lived about 125 million years to 110 million years, the western scholars call early cretaceous, or late Jurassic by Chinese scholars. It is the earliest birds known as no tooth cutin beak.
